Independence Day 2018

On this special day, lets honor our flag and our forefathers who gave us the freedoms we enjoy as American citizens.Lets have hot dogs, burgers and beer and watch some fireworks! Why do we celebrate with fireworks?

Here's a fun fact I gleaned from the internet:

John Adams wrote a letter to his wife, Abigail, on July 3, 1776, where he detailed exactly how he wanted to celebrate America's moment: “with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more.” On July 4, 1777, the fireworks began.
